Beulah Ethel Lee, 87, of Travelers Rest, wife of Terrill Hooper Lee, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 10, 2002, in Gainesville, Ga. Mrs. Lee was born March 7, 1915, in Scotts Creek, N.C., and was a resident of Travelers Rest for over 40 years. She was of the Baptist faith. On April 19 of this year, Mrs. Lee and her husband, Hooper, would have celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. Surviving are her husband, Terrill Hooper Lee, of Travelers Rest; sons, Rodney Lee of Bonneau, S.C., and James Lee and wife Karen, of Canyon Lake, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Lee, of Travelers Rest; a sister, Jerdie Stephens, of Sylva, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Harold and Paul Lee. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Grand View Memorial Gardens, Section E. The family will be at 217 Lorraine Drive, Travelers Rest. - The Howze Mortuary, Funeral Directors, Travelers Rest, is in charge of arrangements.
