Bettye Lou Warren JohnsonMoultonFuneral service for Bettye Lou Warren Johnson, 85, of Moulton, will be today, October 4, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Brother Steve Agree officiating. Visitation, directed by Elliott Funeral Home, will be held an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.Mrs. Johnson, who left this life on Sunday, October 2, 2011, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was born on December 21, 1925, in Decatur, to Howard Pope Warren and Mattie Lee McKelvey Warren. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Johnson was a talented homemaker who loved flowers, cooking and sewing. She worked as a bookkeeper for the family businesses. She adored her children and grandchildren as they did her, her happiest times were spent with them. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of almost fifty years, Paul Miller Johnson and one sister, Eloise Warren Muntz. Survivors include her children, Betty Faye Johnson Hester and husband, Robert, Paul Timothy 'Tim' Johnson and wife, Becki; her grandchildren, Billy Ray Jackson, Jr. and wife, Beth, Paul Jason Jackson and wife, Lana, Hilton Hester Prater and husband, Matt and Brittany Johnson Saliba and husband, Charlie; precious great grandchildren, Brantlee, Brailee, Ally, Karsten, Arianna, Sophie, Anders, Madelyn and Emmie; two sisters, Marjorie Warren Shelton and Elsie Warren Mitchell. A special thanks to Dr. Charles Coffey, Dr. John Wagner, the kind and caring staff of NHC Healthcare of Moulton, and her loving home caregivers, Melba Terry and Margaret Williams.
