BOZARTH, Betty Syme At age 100, passed away on Wednesday April 5th, 2006 at Lanark Lodge Perth, Ontario. Born in Toronto, September 29, 1905, she lived there most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Robert Mitchell and Isabella Hunter Jones of Toronto. Her brother, Alexander and sister-in-law Pearl Jones of Ottawa and her husband, William Benjamin Bozarth predeceased her. She is survived by her two nieces and their families: Heather, and her husband Robert H. Cook, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Sandra, and her husband William Kennedy, of Perth, Ontario. Betty loved her hometown and lived her life to the full. She had a long and dedicated clerical career with both the Sunnybrook Hospital and The Hospital for Sick Children. She was a long standing member of the Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, where she married Bill Bozarth in 1970. She was also a member of St. Matthews United Church and its Bracondale House. She enjoyed playing the piano, especially at church functions. She also enjoyed traveling and visited relatives in Scotland on several occasions. She was a gifted artist and loved to paint landscapes and still life in both oil and water colours. She moved to Lanark Lodge in Perth in 2002 to be closer to her relatives. The family will receive friends at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore Street West, Perth on Saturday May 6th, 2006 prior to the service to be held at 3:30 P.M. A private interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. Published in the Ottawa Citizen from 4/8/2006 - 4/9/2006
