-->Betty Smith SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Betty Smith of 351 Textile Drive Apt. #47 passed Thursday morning, November 22, 2007 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Mr. Standyard Smith, Jr. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Willie Gladden and Mrs. Sadie Gladden. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a native of Spartanburg County. Survivors include three sons, Mr. Stanley D. Smith, Mr. Willie E. Smith and Mr. James E. Smith all of Spartanburg, SC; two daughters, Ms. Annie R. Smith and Ms. Teresa L. Smith both of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Mr. Stanley Gladden of Greensboro, NC; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ms. Bonnie K. Smith and by one sister, Ms. Patricia Gladden. The family is at the home of her daughter, Ms. Theresa Smith at 500 Crescent Avenue. J. W. Woodward Funeral Home
