Betty Elizabeth Crocker Smith, 71, of 14787 Highway 25, widow of Willie J. Smith, died Saturday, September 30, 2006, at her home.Born in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Ezell and Eunice Grace Robinson Crocker. She was a former textile worker.Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Godfrey of Honea Path, Debra Todd of Piedmont, Tammy Sweet of Cross Hill; son, David Smith of Piedmont; sister, Jean King of Greenwood; brother, Neil Crocker of Pelzer; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Greenville Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Dan Compton officiating.The family is at the home and will receive friends 12 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer, prior to the services.
