Betty Curry Smith, 76, of National Healthcare Center of Clinton, formerly of 9183 Greenpond Road, widow of Osker Roy Smith, died Thursday, August 4, 2005, at Laurens County Hospital.Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late J. Arthur and Leola Hellams Curry. She was a former seamstress with Tavern Sportswear and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Michael R. and Kim Smith of Laurens; three grandchildren, Melissa Ann Ballard and husband, Christopher James, Michaela Elizabeth Smith, and Michael R. Taylor; and one great-grandson, Tyler J. Ballard.Funeral services will be 4:30 p.m., Sunday, August 7, 2005, at Shiloh United Methodist Church conducted by Rev.
