SMITH, Betty. (1927-2008). With deep sadness we announce the passing of Betty Smith (nee Perry), wife of the late Stanley John Smith who left us peacefully surrounded by her family at the Verdun General Hospital on January 26, 2008. She leaves to mourn her daughters Cathy (Johnny) and Margaret (Claude). Her precious grandson Patrick. Survived by her sisters Margaret, Kathleen and her brother Fred. Predeceased by John, Marc, Albert, Leo, Teddy, Maurice, Patsy, Jacqueline and Ethel. Her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences at St. Thomas More, 980 Moffat Ave., Verdun on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12 noon.
