Young-Anderson of 104 Singing Pines, Greenville, S.C. was born April 30, 1948, her heavenly father called her home Friday, October 8, 2010. She was a person known by all who knew her by her big smile and big heart, always giving unselfishly wanting nothing in return. She loved making others happy. She celebrated her life on October 3, 2010 with a celebration dinner where she greeted her family and friends.She was baptized at an early age at Antioch Baptist Church. In 1968, she married the late Deacon Clarence "Buddy" Anderson, where she later joined the Long Branch Baptist Church. She was a devoted member of the church where she served as a Deaconess and a member of the Worship Choir. She was a graduate of Sterling High School class of 1966. She was an employee of the Greenville Hospital System in the Radiology Department for 43 years. She was a faithful member of the Mount Lily Chapter #59 of the Eastern Stars where she served as a Worthy Matron.She was the daughter of the late John Young and Birdie Mae Young. She leaves to cherish many fond and loving memories to her sons, Clarence Anderson III (L'Twanya) and Anthony F. Anderson. She has two sisters, Johnnie Mae (James) Washington and Shirley Young of Greenville; and two brothers, Bobby Freeman of Greenville and Clarence (Nancy) Young of Columbia. She has one aunt, Mrs. Emma Lee Williams.She leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Tyquon Anderson, Nicholas Ladson Anderson, Makenzie Anderso, Zharia Anderson, Darrian Anderson and Jaylen Anderson. She was also loved by a host of nieces and nephews.In our care, S.C. Franks Chapel of Remembrance.
