SchoolteacherLAKELAND -- Mrs. Betty K. Moore of Lakeland died of cancer Monday (March 1, 2004) at Good Shepherd Hospice. She was 81.Born in Batavia, N.Y., on May 28, 1922, she came to Lakeland from there 19 years ago. She was a schoolteacher in the Batavia city schools. She was a Baptist.Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, Frank E. "Snookie" Moore, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the home of "Snookie" Moore, 2214 Flaming Arrow Drive, Lakeland. A.M.
