Betty J. Moore - Cocoa - Betty J. Moore, age 75, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Florida Hospital South in Orlando. Betty was born in Valdosta, GA and she came to Brevard county in 1952 from Jasper FL. She was retired from the Brevard County School Board. She is survived by two daughters, Jean (Greg) Mason, and Susan (Tom) Boorom; sister, Margaret Flowe; grandchildren, Brenda Townley, Dixie Steuerwald, Jessica Levi, Matthew Boorom, Jeromy Boorom, Erin Hines, and six great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday, August 27th, 6 - 8 p.m. and funeral service will be Friday, at 2 p.m. at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Brevard Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
