Miller, Betty (Gobeyn) Lyons/Marion: Passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the age of 80. Family and friends may call on Thursday (Jan. 22) from 2 to 4 and 7-9 pm at the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. A Graveside Service and Burial will be held at the Marion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society or to the Newark Wayne Community Hospital. Betty was born October 7, 1928 in Marion, a daughter to Freeman and Anna M. Micheilsen Gobeyn. After retiring from Garlock, she spent twenty enjoyable years helping in the family greenhouses and farm and supporting her family at local sporting events. Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kathy Miller; grandsons, Drew and Josh Miller; brothers, Jim (Shirley), Willie (Dawn), Roger (Rita) and Randy (Beverly) Gobeyn; sister, Ollie (Duane) Sonneville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
