Betty Millerof Johnson CityBetty Miller, 79, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2006, at the Willow Point Nursing Home. She was born in Binghamton on February 18, 1927. She is survived by two daughters; a brother, Larry Owens; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member for over 30 years of the First Baptist Church of Johnson City and was especially loved by her friends in the Ladies Bible Class. She was a retiree from Universal Instruments.Funeral and committal services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Barber Memorial Home Inc., 428 Main Street, Johnson City with her pastor, Rev. Jim Murphy, officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Johnson City, 12 Baldwin Street, Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.
