Certified Nurse's AssistantLAKELAND -- Mrs. Betty McCalpin Miller of Lakeland died of heart and lung failure Aug. 15, 2003, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 66.Born in Lakeland, she was a lifelong resident. She was a retired private duty certified nurse's assistant. She was a member of First Baptist Institutional Church in Lakeland where she was a former member of the choir.Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie Miller. She is survived by her mother, Lillian McCalpin, Lakeland; daughters, Patricia Miller, Veronica Miller, both of Lakeland, Phyllis Towns-Hamilton, Jacksonville; sisters, Claudette Moultrie, Luvilla Lewis, both of Lakeland; brother, Leon Martinez, Lakeland; two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 this evening at H.W. Oldham Funeral Home, Lakeland. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Institutional Church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
