MILLER, Betty (nee Berezofsky) of Montreal, Halifax and Ottawa Peacefully, on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the age of ninety. Betty is survived by her loving family: two children, Ellen Park of Durango, Colorado, and Mark Medicoff, of Montreal; one grandchild, Zack Medicoff, of Toronto; two sisters, Fay Klopot, of Toronto, and Jean Rivier, of Ottawa; her son-in-law, Ross Park, and daughter-in-law Marion Kery; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Predeceased by her parents, her husbands, Harry Medicoff and Edgar Miller, her brother, Louie, and her infant sister, Esther Bella. Heartfelt gratitude to her caregivers and the nursing staff of the Montefiore Residence, with special thanks to Ellen Tissenbaum and Janie Desroches for their devoted care. Betty will be sadly missed for her energy and great gifts of love. Funeral Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the New Jewish Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario.
