Betty Margaret Lewis, 88, of West Frankfort, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Benton Rehab & Health Care Center. She was born September 6, 1924 in West Frankfort to Fred and Ida (Fitzgerald) Lampley. She married William Howard Lewis and he preceded her in death on April 15, 1976.Survivors include four sons, Howard (Arlene) Lewis of West Frankfort, Tom (Becky) Lewis of West Frankfort, Tim (Phyllis) Lewis of Ina and Rick (Janellyn) Lewis of West Frankfort; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Ida Wilson of Benton and Wanda (Pat) Reed of Rock Falls, Il..She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Howard Lewis; a granddaughter, Kelly Michelle; two infant grandchildren and three brothers, Wayne, Wallace and Fredy LampleyShe attended the Christian Worship Center in West Frankfort.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort with Pastor Robbey Smith officiating. Burial will be in the McKinney Hill Cemetery in Cambria. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
