MacKENZIE, Betty Kay(nee Thurgood)Died on January 14, 2012. Born in London, England. Predeceased by her husband David MacKenzie and sisters Elsie and Joan. Loving and much loved mother of Frances Roach (George). Will be missed by David McKenzie in Australia. Kay was a Life Member and volunteer at the Good Companions Seniors' Centre. Many of her years were spent travelling the world with her husband who was with the Canadian Depatrment of Foreign Affairs. Thank you to the staff at Alta Vista Manor for their care and kindness. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Strret, (at O'Connor), on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm. In Memoriam donations to the Wild Bird Care Centre appreciated.
