HENDRY, Betty M. (nee Henderson) Passed away suddenly May 13, 2002. Betty was born in Ilford Essex England July 21, 1922. She married James Fraser Marr Hendry of Aberdeen Scotland in 1943. They immigrated to Windsor, Ontario in 1953 and settled in Tecumseh Ontario where she was very involved in politics and civic affairs, and ran the Brownie troop for more than 10 years. In 1970 the family moved to Plymouth, and then Harrison Township MI. She was an active member in the Grace Episcopal Church life in Mt. Clemens where she helped run the food pantry and Women's league. Recently she was an involved member of Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Clair Shores. She is survived by her daughter Mary Elizabeth Robinson and her spouse Gary Grant Robinson of Dexter, Michigan and her son James Henderson Hendry, his wife Suzanne Marie and two granddaughters Sarah Elizabeth and Emily Suzanne of Clarkston Michigan. Betty will be dearly missed by many, for her good deeds and acts of kindness. In lieu of flowers the family prefers that charitable contributions be made to the Humane Society or the American Cancer Society. To celebrate her life, a memorial service in her honor will held on Saturday May 18, 2002 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 30205 East Jefferson, St. Clair Shores
