BROWN, Betty M., 85, of Corry, Pa., died on Friday, July 18, 2003 in the Corry Memorial Hospital. She was born in Union City, Pa. on March 4, 1918, a daughter of the late, John J. and Pricilla Mountain Casey . She was raised and educated in Corry, graduating in 1936. She spent her life as a housewife and mother. She enjoyed reading the Bible, country music and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the West Side Independent Baptist Church in Brooksville, Fla. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Brown on Dec. 3, 1995. They were married in Clymer, N.Y. on Nov. 10, 1940. Sh e was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl Buckley. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Harris and her husband, Howard of Brooksville and Patricia Derby of Corry, Pa.; a son, John R. Brown of Erie , Pa.; a sister, Betty Ethridge of Modesto, CA; five grandchildren; five great- grandchildren. She was buried in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
