Bronk, Betty Louise Nov. 3, 1927 - Oct. 27, 2014 Betty Louise Bronk, 87, of Sarasota, FL, died on Oct. 27, 2014. She was born on November 3, 1927 in Randolph County, IN to the late George C. and Virginia (Butler) McCormick. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Sarasota, FL and was inducted into the SWBA Bowling Hall of Fame. After 25 years of service she retired from Russell News Agency as their secretary/bookkeeper. Following retirement she worked with Franklin Lanes, Franklin, NC so she could enjoy her hobby of bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Caswell Bronk. Survivors include her Daughter & Son-in-Law: Donna & Randy Porter of Lake Park, GA; Daughter & Son-in-Law: Terry & Joe Watson of Kenansville, FL; Son & Daughter-in-Law: Clarke & Debbie Bronk of Myakka City, FL; 6 Grandchildren: Teresa Stockton, Heather Brooks (Mike), Brandy Ridley (David), Amanda Hartman (Yancey), Clarke Bronk and Kyle Porter; 10 Great Grandchildren; Sister & Brother-in-Law: Peggy & Don Klingle of Rushville, IN; Brother & Sister-In-Law: Leon & Peggy McCormick of Debury, FL; A number of nieces and nephews. As per her wishes she will be cremated and no formal services will be held. She will be buried next to her husband in Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota, FL.
