Betty Lou Lind (nee Tomak) Merrillville Betty Lou Lind (nee Tomak), age 74, of Merrillville, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2005 at St. Anthony's Hospice in Crown Point. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 1:15 p.m. from the Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville and a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Crown Point with Reverend Terry J. Steffens. Burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Anthony's Hospice.
