Colbert - Betty Lois Smith, 72, died January 20, 2005.A native and lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late William P. and Queenie Smith Geeter and was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Gibson.Funeral services will be Saturday, January 22, 2005, at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Rev. Lee Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Colbert Cemetery.Survivors include her husband, Robert A. ìBobî Smith; two daughters, Pam Polk of Rayle and Sandy Boring of Colbert; son, Calvin Smith of Colbert; sisters, Bessie Accetturi of Bishop; brother, Henry Lee Geeter of Arnoldsville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
