She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lee.Betty was born in Plant City, FL and graduated from Plant City High School and Florida State University. She was retired from the Sate of Florida and she and her husband Jack owned and operated a successful business in West Palm Beach and Kissimmee, BJ Products. Betty moved to Melbourne in 2005 and lived at Watersong in Viera, where she made many new friends. She leaves behind her loving family, Bill and Sandee Coates, Jill Ashley Coates Mason and her husband, Kurt, Patrick Coates and his wife, Shanti. "Aunt Betty" will always be in our hearts.A Celebration of Life was held Friday, November 16 at Watersong from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 17th, in Plant City at Memorial Park at 11:00 am.In lieu of flowers, Betty requested donations be made in her name to The Haven For Children, PO Box 327, Melbourne, FL 32902.
