Betty L. Age 74, of Stony Fork Road, Wellsboro, PA, the Heavenly Angels came to her bedside and took her to Heaven on Saturday, May 27, 2006, at Broad Acres Nursing Home. She was the wife of George H. Edwards whom she married September 9, 1952. Betty was born August 29, 1931, in Blackwell, PA, the daughter of the late Alvin and Mabel Duffy Alexander. She was a graduate of Liberty High School and a homemaker. Betty was a member of the Stony Fork Baptist Church, and enjoyed camping, country music and her family and friends. Surviving are her husband, George; brothers, Bernard Alexander, Wellsboro, PA, and Gordon Alexander, Tioga, PA; twin sister, Beryl Smith, Cogan Station, PA; several nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2006, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro. Funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dennis Crumb officiating. Burial in Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
