Funeral service for Mrs. Betty L. Butterworth, 76, will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 - 8 this evening. Mrs. Butterworth passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Jacksonville Medical Center. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Edwards (Brian) Combs, of Weaver; sons, Perry (Nan) Evans, of Forest Park, Ga., Travis (Kathy) Evans, of Weaver; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Butterworth, and daughter, Cheryl Henderson. Mrs. Butterworth was a native of Ft. Payne, Ala. and resident of Weaver. She was a Jacksonville State University graduate as an LPN. She was retired owner of Butterworth Nursing Agency. She was of the Baptist faith.
