GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest June 20, 2013 at her residence, Mrs. Betty J. Johnson, wife of the late Mr. Talmadge Johnson. Memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 pm at West Acres Baptist Church, Rev. Denny Mack officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the Love's Sunday School Class Mrs. Johnson was a native of Plumberville, Arkansas and has lived in the area for the past 16 years, coming from Bainbridge, Ga. She was a member of West Acres Baptist Church where she was in the Love's One Sunday School Class, Red Hat Society and a Volunteer at Joseph M. Still Burn Center. Senior Friends. She was retired from Bainbridge Georgia School System as administrative assistant. Survivors include two daughters, Joni Lawton (Brewton) Grovetown, Ga., Becky Catrett (Billy) Columbus, Ga.; two grandsons, Kyle & Kurt Lawton The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to service.
