Betty Jo Miller, 80, Nokomis, died Dec. 29, 2004. She was born July 27, 1924, in Pittsburgh and came to Nokomis in 1991 from Massachusetts. She was owner and bookkeeper of Braintree Tool Co. She graduated from Burdette College in Boston. She was a life member of Master Bridge and was a Methodist. Survivors include her son, Paul of Mills, Mass.; a brother, the Rev. Robert A. Young of Eagle River, Alaska; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mortimer N. Pick Funeral Home, Braintree, Mass., is in charge.
