Betty Jo Johnson, 78 SEBRING - Betty Jo Johnson, age 78, of Sebring, passed away May 6, 2010, in Sebring. She was born March 6, 1932, in LaBelle, the daughter of the late Dozier Walden and Olive Adeline (Murphy) Starling. Mrs. Johnson married William Ray Johnson Sr. She was an Accountant for many years. Survivors include her husband, William Ray Johnson Sr.; two sons, James M. Long Jr., and William Ray Johnson Jr.; one daughter, Carrie DesRosiers of Sebring; one brother, Roger (Jean) Starling; one sister, Jean Jolley; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, Immokalee with Pastor James Wryals and Pastor W.T. "Bill" Maddox officiating. Interment was Tuesday, May 11, 2010, in Baptist Cemetery, Immokalee. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
