SMITH, Betty Jean 80, passed away August 24, 2009 at Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro, PA. She was born July 15, 1929 in Elkland, PA, the daughter of Wesley and Leona Emberger Smith. Betty Jean was a US Army Veteran. She is survived by sisters, Faye Tokarz, Marcia Greer and Patty Chaborek, all of Covington, PA, Marcile Cleveland and Lucile Persun, both of Trout Run, PA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Peggy Smith, June Miller and Sandra Kay Smith. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Gary W. Wilston Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 130 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA, with Rev. David Dressler officiating. Burial in Gray Cemetery, Covington, PA.
