Betty Jean Patterson, 75, of Vero Beach, died June 21, 2008, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. She was born in Castleton, Ind., and moved to Vero Beach more than 5 years ago, coming from Indianapolis. Prior to her retirement she was the Branch Manager at Southeast Bank in Deerfield Beach. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Patterson of Richland, Mich.; daughter, Patti Nugent of Vero Beach; brothers, Andrew King of Lawrence, Ind., and Michael King of Bradenton; sisters, Carol Bullett of Macallister, Okla., and Helena Howard of Nobelsville, Ind.; and four grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2501 27th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: Private services were conducted.
