ObituaryBetty Jean Brown, 77, of Fort Myers died Monday, August 21, 2006 surrounded by her loving family. Born Dec. 24, 1928 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late J. Edward and Marian (Garrett) Dawson and loving wife of the late George R. Brown.She is survived by her children, Linda (Ted) Mello, George (Lori) Reinhardt, and Robin (Michael) Collier, 6 grandchildren, Matthew Hardy, Allison (Matthew( Helms, Cara (Terry) Hagy, Brandon (Meghan) Reinhardt, Alyssa and Michael Collier and 5 great-grandchildren, Taylor and Trent Hagy, Gage Helms, Skyla Hardy and Olivia Reinhardt.Betty was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #10097, Fort Myers Beach.Friends may call at the Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Drive, Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
