TUSCALOOSA Betty Jane Johnson, age 85, of Tuscaloosa, died August 15, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Williamson Cemetery with Bro. George Henley officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.Survivors include her daughters, Cindi Stamps (Dana) of Tuscaloosa and Margaret Mays (Doug) of Phenix City; sons, Johnny Johnson (Carol) of Las Vegas, Nev. and Sonny Johnson (Mary) of Clearwater, Fla.; sister, Faye Swann; and brothers, Alford Riggan and Ray Morton.Born in Hamilton, Alabama, she moved to Tuscaloosa in 1961 where she resided until her death. She loved attending Cindi and Dana horseshows, their biggest fan! Her sweet smile, pretty eyes and kindness will be missed by all.Pallbearers will be Knute Christian Jr., Bo Hannah, James Walton, Rick Davis, and Delbert Cantebury.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Sunil Chandra, Del Seal Georgia Mayhew, friends at McAbee Construction, Inc., MICU 1st Floor, and Wanda Kelly.
