BROWN, BETTY JANE JENKINS Ms. Betty Jane Jenkins Brown age 66, of Gainesville formerly of Starke passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009 at her residence. She was born on April 5, 1943 in Gainesville to Charles A. and Alice Silcox Jenkins, and moved to Gainesville from Starke in 1966. Ms. Brown retired from the University of Florida after 25 years of service working in the Accounting Division, and was a member of Waldo Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother Charles Lacy Jenkins. Survivors are: children: Angela Diane Cole and William Christopher Brown; her mother Alice Silcox Jenkins; sisters: Edna Dooling ; Jackie Higginbotham; Janice Pownell; grandchildren: Alex Gauthier; Brandon Gauthier; Josh Cole; Ashton Lassetter. The family will receive friends at the JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 514 E. Nona St., Starke, on Thursday, April 9, 2009 from 5-7 PM. Graveside funeral Services will be on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 10:00 AM in Kingsley Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Waldo Baptist Church Youth Department, P.O.
