Funeral service for Betty Ivanhoe Fox, 73, Ormond Beach, who died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, will be at the convenience of the family. Ms. Fox was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Newark, N.J. She moved to Daytona Beach in 1953 from New Jersey. She was married to Jimmy Ivanhoe who owned several well-known businesses in the Daytona Beach area - Mac's Famous Bar and the Rockin E Ranch to name a couple. Betty was well-known in the area and volunteered for several years at a local hospital. Betty also spent many years caring for her mother, Margaret Miller, until her final passing. Betty later married Gene Fox, moved to Pelican Bay and spent many years there until she moved to Ormond Beach. She is survived by her nieces, Dr. Beth Nettles, Daytona Beach, Dawn O'Guinn, Euless, Texas; nephews, Irven Elmore, Ormond Beach, Kenny Elmore, Bakersfield, Calif., and her former husband, Gene Fox.
