Betty Holland Gray, 84, of Southside, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Dr. Jay Stewart will be officiating. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.Mrs. Gray was a longtime resident of Gadsden. She had a love for cooking and she enjoyed yard work.Betty Holland Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. Gray Sr.; son, Gary Gray; parents, Homer and Gicy Holland; and her brother, James Holland.Survivors include her son, Kenneth G. Gray Jr. of Wedowee, AL; daughter, Kay (Kenny) Hinson of Hanahan, SC; granddaughter, Sabrina Hinson of Hanahan, SC; brother, Don (Myran) Holland of Gadsden, AL; and sister-in-law, Doris Buchannan of Gadsden, AL.The family would like to give a special thanks to Diane and Cindy.
