Betty H. Gray August 5, 2011 Betty H. Gray, formerly Betty Helmer, born December 5, 1926, in Montezuma, NY, died Friday, August 5, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her husband, Irving, and survived by her four children, Terry (Ronald) Kolezynski of Orange Park, FL, Linda (Harry) Brundage of Port Byron, NY, Irving "Skip" (Joni) Gray of Clay, NY, and Foster S. Gray of Port Byron, NY; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; cousin Jackie Smith; and her dear friend of 25 years, Hazel Brundage. Betty was raised in Montezuma, NY, and graduated from Port Byron High School. She was employed by the Port Byron School District and retired from Marine Midland Bank. She was an avid fan of Yankee baseball, SU basketball, and, most importantly, her grandchildren's sporting events. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. Private services will be held by the family. Audioun Funeral Home, 218 Main St., Port Byron, has charge of the arrangements.
