MILLER, BETTY G. 73, of Carroll, OH, was called home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 3, 2005, in Columbus, OH. She was born in West Point, KY, on March 13, 1932. She was the youngest child of Siothia Frances Goodpasture and Arnold Curtis Miller. She married Maurice Wayne Miller on August 6, 1952. "She was a devoted wife, mother and hard worker." She retired from General Electric in 1984. In 1987, she and Wayne moved to Boynton Beach, FL, where she resided for 18 years, although her heart was always in Kentucky. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. She was also proud to be a native Kentuckian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curt and Fannie, foster parents, Anna and Clarence Carpenter, brother, Arnold Robert, and sisters, Francis and Nettie Catherine. She leaves behind to cherish her memory Wayne Miller, her beloved husband of nearly 54 years; her loving children, Ramona Faye Stroupe of Frankfort, KY, Carol Ann Wooten of Columbus and Joe Wayne Miller of Valley Grove, WV; beloved grandchildren, Aaron, Anson, Natalie, William, Kristin, Ryan and Dylan; loving big brother, Curtis Miller of Grants Pass, OR; and loving sister, Thelma Doyle, of Davidsonville, MD. Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2005, in the chapel at Evergreen Funeral Home, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Friday.
