Mrs. Betty Edwards - RINCON - Mrs. Betty Edwards, 80, died Friday, July 10, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Edwards, was born in Pennsylvania, was a nurses aid and a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-laws, Patsy Woodcock (Jerry) of Bluffton, SC, Nancy Miller (Johnny) of Metter; one son, Tim Edwards of Springfield; two brothers, Ronnie Myers of Tifton, and Jack Myers of Savannah; one sister, Kay Groves of Savannah, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 p.m., at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held 3 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2009 in the Rincon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416, or 1st Baptist Church of Rincon Building Fund, 201 East 6th St., Rincon, GA 31326.
