FOX--Betty D., of East Hampton, NY, died suddenly on August 27, 2009 of complications from a fall in April of this year. She is survived by her life partner, Joyce Whitby and their son Duong Fox, who deeply mourn her loss. A former broadcast executive and radio station owner, she was a real estate broker in NYC and East Hampton for the last 25 years. She was a graduate of both Hunter College High School and Hunter College (1954); to both of which she was a devoted alumna recognized for her service. Contributions may be made in her name for breast cancer research. Memorial to be announced at a later date.
