-> Betty Cozzupoli Bryant, 63, of Savannah, died Wednesday at her residence under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born in Slickvile, PA, and had lived in Savannah for the past 61 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Henry Bryant. She was retired from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, having served as a legal clerk. She was a member of the Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church, where she had served on the Board of Deacons, The Preschool Board, and the Board of Elders. She had also served as a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the YaYa Christian Hood Circle, and the Saturday Morning Prayer Group. She was also a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Provence. She is survived by two sons, Lee H. Bryant of Savannah, and Chris C. Bryant of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Lisa Bryant Barbee of Savannah; two brothers, James Provence of Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters, Marie Greenway Whitlock of Port Wentworth; Theresa Provence of Pulaski; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and a special family friend Kitty Thompson. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church. Burial: JoAnne H.
