Betty Ann Clark"Victory is ours through Christ Jesus, who loved us."Betty became victorious over the trials of this world when she went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 16, 2013. 1 Thessalonians 5:10 tells us that "Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever."It is through God's word that Betty found solace, peace and joy. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Culley's MeadowWood, Timberlane Chapel and the funeral will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held after funeral at Pine Park cemetery in Cairo, GA about 4:00 pm In Lieu of flowers the family would request that donations be made to Big Bend Hospice in her honor.She loved God, her family and life.Betty had many hobbies and interests God gave her that brought her joy everyday of her life. She loved ballroom dancing, reading, fishing, gardening, world traveling, and sitting on the patio watching the bluebirds and butterflies; and most important spending time with her family making special memories.Betty was employed at FSU at the Wellness Center in the Compliance Department for the last 10 years. It was at the Wellness Center that Betty was blessed to be around God loving, compassionate, caring brothers and sisters in Christ. Betty was born in Cairo, Ga on September 23, 1955 the oldest of four children born to Arthur Lee and Minnie Lee (Cox) Rash.Betty is survived by her husband, Ralph, two daughters Christy Byrne and spouse Dawn McMurtray and spouse and her four grandchildren Emmory, Garrett, Riley and Matthew. Betty has one sister (Brenda Chapman) from Bainbridge, Ga. Two brothers (Arthur Rash Jr.) and spouse and sister in Christ (Darleene Rash) from Cairo, Ga. and (Jimmy Rash) from Bainbridge, Ga.
