Mrs. Betty Clackum Henderson, 83, of Oxford, passed away April 20,2013 at Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Georgia but lived in Calhoun County most of her life. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dan C. Henderson; daughter, Susan Durham (husband, Donald and daughter, Kristi); son, Terry (wife, Sue and son, Wes); sons, Danny, Michael (wife, Cyndy and children), Laura (husband, Ehren and son, Emmett); son, Matthew (fiancé Kendall Watson); son, David (wife, Denise and children, Amy and Christopher); sister, Frances Jemison; brother, Nolan Clackum (wife, Gail) and a host of other relatives. She was a member and regular attendee of Lakeview Baptist Church in Oxford for over 50 years. She was a housewife and worked in the family owned grocery store, mobile home sales and mobile home park. She was well loved by all her family and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, 2013, at Lakeview Baptist Church with the Reverend Jerry Starling officiating. Burial will follow in the Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on this evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour before service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hyatt, Johnny Hyatt, Artie Moore, Archie Durham, John Durham and Randy Bachus. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Ruth Sunday School Class. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Lela Clackum. Miller Funeral Home
