BROWN Betty Boyer Brown died peacefully on January 11, 2014 with her brother at her side. She was 90 years of age. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Champagne and her husband of sixty years, Fred Brown. She leaves behind a brother, E.D. Boyer, a daughter, Charlotte (Jeannie) Wright, a son, Fred Brown Jr., six grandchildren, eight great-grand children and many other family members who will miss her dearly. She was loved by everyone she knew and loved everyone she knew. She was a dedicated servant of the Lord and was instrumental in leading many to know Him. She was a long time member of Lake Shore Baptist Church where she served in the preschool department for over 40 years. She retired in 1985 from the Clerk of the Courts in Jacksonville. A luncheon will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wed, Jan. 15, 2014 Lake Shore Baptist Church, 2363 Blanding Blvd followed by the viewing in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens from 2:00 until 3:00 PM. Funeral services officiated by Pastor Steve Mouzon will commence at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in The Garden of Devotion in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park.
