Betty-Bob Smith, conjointe de Theodore-Landon Smith, fille de S. -Stanley et Alta-Davis, est décédée à l'âge de 87 ans.
Betty Bob Smith - SAVANNAH - Betty Bob Smith, aged 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Savannah. She was the daughter of S. Stanley Knapp and Alta Davis Knapp of Dallas, Texas and sister of Bebe Platzner. An Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Texas, she married Theodore Landon Smith, moved to St. Louis, Missouri and later retired to Savannah. Betty Bob was a past President of The Landings Art Association and a Docent at the Telfair Art Museum. As an artist, she was commissioned to sculpt a bust of friend, Judge Frank P. Crowley, former Commissioner of Dallas County, Texas. The bronze bust stands in the Crowley Courts Building in Dealey Plaza. Betty Bob is survived by her loving husband of 64 years; T. Landon Smith, four children, seven grandchildren, and one nephew. A memorial is being planned for the Skidaway Island United Methodist Church at a date to be determined.
