Betty Barr Williams - SAVANNAH - Betty Barr Williams died September 19, 2008. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Savannah, GA, after serving with the American Red Cross in India in World War II. She was the owner of Japonica before moving to Charleston, South Carolina. She was predeceased by her husband, John and her son Michael. She is survived by her daughter, Missy Haigh and her husband, Charles and their children, Griffith and Peter. Funeral services will be private.
