->Atkinson, Betty B.Betty B. Atkinson, 91, formerly of West Corners, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013. She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Julia Blazey, her husband of 48 years Ralph in 1995; three brothers, Al, Joe, Jack; and brother-in-law, George Strom. She is survived by her loving family; three children and their spouses; Carol and James Ryan, Jan and Richard Bednar, Dennis Atkinson; brother Tom Blazey; two sisters; Mary Strom, Millie Triano; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Betty was an auxiliary member of the West Corners Fire Dept., the Czechoslovak Moravian Club and the Senior Chorus. When Ralph was still alive she enjoyed traveling and singing with him. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013 at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Ave, Endicott. The family will welcome friends at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Slovak Catholic Cemetery.
