Gunter, Betty Alexander, 63, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2006. Betty was in the banking business for her whole career. Starting at First Federal of Broward and moving on to Southtrust Bank where she was in mortgage processing. She is survived by her mother, Bessie Alexander of Boynton Beach; her sisters, Virginia (Norman) Grehl of Ft. Lauderdale and Jane (Wayne) Singletary of Boynton Beach; nephews Scott (Ranae) Grehl and their family, and Jeffrey (Caroline) Singletary and their family. She leaves behind many, many good friends. She was loved by all that knew her. The family would like to thank all of her caregivers; there are so many thanks, especially to the transplant team headed by Dr. Andreas Tzakis of Jackson Memorial Hospital and Broward General Medical Center.
