BROWN, BETTIE H. (BETSY), 76, passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Palliative Care in Baptist East Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Her son, Wade R.; her former husband, Allen R.; and her parents, Thelma and Harvey Harrison, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children and their partners, Nancy, A. Kent (Leigh), Dane (Ginny) and Matthew (Kathy); her granddaughters, Ginna and Laura; her step-granddaughters, Laura and Ashley; her cousins, Connie Lewis of Virginia; her friends and caretakers, Georgie Williams and Rosemary Lucas; and many close friends. Betsy requested cremation and no visitation. Friends of Betsy's are invited to attend her funeral mass at 11 a.m. on March 3, 2007 at Holy Spirit Church, 3345 Lexington Road, followed by a celebration of her life at 3 p.m. at the home of Shirley and Helen Palmer-Ball, 7713 Old Westport Rd.
