CRAWFORD HEWITT, BESSIE PAULINE (Member of the Order of the Eastern Star Bayview Chapter #105, Barrie, Charter member of Oro Lioness Club) Went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in her 85th year. Bessie of Orillia and formerly of Oro Station, beloved wife of the late Howard J. Crawford and the late Harvey E. Hewitt. Loved mother of Dianne Waddell and husband Jack of Sarnia, Joan Lavin and husband Roy of Midland, Doug Crawford and wife Lynda and John Crawford and wife Doris all of Oro Station. Special mother of Ginny McCullough and husband Tracey or Orillia and Lloyd Schram of Oro Station. Dear step-mother of Dave Hewitt and wife Estelle, Marilyn Johnson and husband Dave and Ron Hewitt and wife Linda, all of the Orillia area. She is loved and will be missed by her 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Sister of Rosella Weatherill, Lou Lovering, both of Barrie, Marion Drennan of Hillsdale, Eileen Potter and Don Galbraith (Hazel) all of Coldwater. The late Mrs. Bessie Crawford Hewitt will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Knox Cemetery, Oro. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church, 265 Coldwater Rd., Orillia, on Saturday afternoon, July 26th, from 12 noon until time of memorial service at 1:30 p.m. If desired, memorial donations to the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Oncology Dept. or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
