Bessie Mae C. Burnett-Wright - MACON - Bessie Mae C. Burnett-Wright, 81, died Friday, August 10, 2007 at her residence. She was a native of Treutlen County, and attended the public schools in Treutlen County. She was the daughter of the late Ira Buster and Rosie Johnson Curry. Survivors include four sons, Curtis (Grace) Burnett of Decatur, Evangelist Gene (Minister Carol J.) Burnett of Savannah, JB (Pastor Ann) Burnett and Bobby Burnett of Monroe; four daughters, Doris (Donald) Harrington of Urban Crest, OH, Evangelist Margaret Burnett of Columbus, OH, Jessie Burnett of Soperton, GA and Shenita (Perry) Bostic of Dublin, GA; two sisters, Emma Woods and Willa Mae Mitchell of Soperton, GA, 25 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2007 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Soperton, GA, with Evangelist Gene Burnett, officiating. Burial: Baker Cemetery, Soperton, GA.
