Bessie Lee Hall EWING Bessie Lee Hall of Ewing, NJ, was born in Gay, GA, on Aug. 8, 1942, to Lee and Julia Mae Jackson. She departed this life on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Capital Health System-Fuld surrounded by family. She was educated in the public school system of Flagler County in Florida and graduated from Carver High School. She met and married Vandy Hall and God blessed their union with three children. Bessie worked at Princeton Medical Center for a few years, but spent most of her life as a wife and mother while helping with the family business, R & V Hall Construction Co., Inc. Bessie loved her family and spent many hours caring for her grandchildren and planning events for the family. She especially enjoyed "family night," when all family and extended family members would gather at her house for food, fellowship and fun. Bessie has been a member of Saint Phillips Baptist Church for the past 50 years, dedicating most of her time to developing and growing the nurse's ministry, serving as president for over 20 years and then as vice president. She also served as treasurer of the Nurse's Council of Trenton & Vicinity. Bessie was predeceased by her parents, Lee and Julia Mae Jackson; one brother, John Jackson, and one sister-in-law, Shirley Worley. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her husband of 54 years, Vandy Hall of Ewing, NJ; two daughters, Rhonda Hall of Hamilton, NJ, and Tonya Coston of Burlington, NJ; one son Vince Hall (Janine) of Ewing, NJ; six grandchildren, Thomas Lee, Jamar Bernard, Vandy Blake and Jade Alexis Hall, Xavier Daniel and Xander Darien Coston; three great-grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Harmonie and Demarcus Hall; four sisters, Sylvia Jackson of Kissimmee, FL, Marion Jackson of Daytona Beach, FL, Martha Thomas (Harold) of Crawfordville, FL, and Eleanor Glenn (Dwayne) of Hephzibah, GA; four brothers, Vincent Jackson of Trenton, NJ, Arthur Jackson Sr. (Gwen), Alfred Jackson Sr. (Sonji) of Palm Coast, FL, and Julius Jackson Sr. of Espanola, FL, and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, at St. Phillips Missionary Baptist Church, 445 Parkinson Ave., Hamilton, NJ. Calling hours will be 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.
